Saxophonist Jerry Ball is a well known professional musician on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  With a masters degree in music education, a three year tour of duty in the Navy Show Band, twenty five years of teaching, and over 40 years as a professional musician, Jerry has established himself as a band leader as well as a sensational sax player.  He has devoted the last 5 years to recording four Christian music CDs, performing in churches, and pursuing his music ministry.  Jerry believes that music is a significant part of worship and helps to offer spiritual refreshment for dry and thirsty souls.  He knows that it is a God-given talent, not just a technical one, to be able to inspire people to worship through music.

"My Heart Rejoices"

For two years, Jerry worked on "My Heart Rejoices", his first Christian music CD, which was a culmination of a lifetime of inspiration.  Jerry says, "The Lord has taught me to trust and acknowledge Him in all things.  He has been faithful in sustaining me as He promised, and He continues to pour out His blessings."

"My Redeemer Lives"

After the success of his first CD, and the wonderful reception at the many performances, the Lord continued Jerry's ministry with a second collection of Christian music entitled "My Redeemer Lives".  Jerry says, "I love the Lord and am humbled that He in return loves me unconditionally.  He leads me each day into greater fulfillment and purpose for Him.  I pray that this music will warm your heart as you continue your spiritual journey."

"The Christmas Gift"

In response to many requests for a Christmas CD, Jerry put together this collection of music entitled "The Christmas Gift" to express the true gift of Christmas, Jesus Christ.  He felt the voice of the soprano sax exemplified the beautiful meaning of the selections.  Jerry says, "It is my sincere desire that the listener will experience the peace and joy of Christmas through the lyrical sounds of this recording.

"He Lifts Me Up"

Following a year off from recording, Jerry began work on his newest CD, "He Lifts Me Up".  It is a collection of old hymns and a few contemporary songs that Jerry arranged for either soprano or tenor sax.  In reflection of his life and service to the Lord, Jerry says, "In my walk with Jesus Christ, I am always amazed at His unfailing love for me, always wanting to be close to me.  All I have to do is make the first move, humbling myself to Him.  The lowly one becomes the lifted one."  Jerry hopes this musical experience will be a spiritual uplifting for the soul of the listener.
